We are all kids. If we choose to not care so...Cute. We are all kids. If we choose to not care so much about the academic and social junk accumulated over the years. Tell you what, my friend Rebecca, her friend Jake and me were sitting outside and smoking pot and looking at the night sky. The moon looks so big through the binoculars and so real. Like a planet, said Jake, and then we saw a shooting star and Jake said thats just probably a burning piece of meteor and not a real star. Rebecca says that they should not give fancy labels to them like shooting stars. She says that if it's space trash, then kids should be taught thats what it is. She says her kid Makayla would be the one to find out first that there are no shooting stars and that her parents were slobs.<br />We are all taken by the half-orb with lakes and spaghetti shaped etchings on its rough exterior that swims into the lens of the binoculars and take turns exclaiming at it. I say that it looks big and like the picture of the moon in Makayla's book. Thats not the real kid world. Thats part of the adult world. The real kid world is playing with Makayla and the other kids, which I plan to do for the rest of the summer. :)0ruby redhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11188910848717066095noreply@blogger.com
